My intention is that the mission of The Daily, which is ‘to provide the best news experience by combining world-class storytelling with the unique interactive capabilities of the iPad,’ will help spread the good word about SuperSlow Zone’s help to those who want optimal fitness and strength in less time than it takes to change into exercise clothes at a gym. The article mentioned that ‘a few first timers throw up.’ Not at a SuperSlow Zone! All of our clients experience a positive workout at their appropriate level to produce the results they desire.”
In the feature article, Madeline focused on the importance of their high-intensity, slow cadence exercise method, SuperSlow®, for safety and to effectively stimulate the body’s natural adaptive response to “build more muscle”. Ross continued, “Fortunately, the article referenced the 2008 American Medical News article, published by the AMA, in which physicians are strongly endorse strength training – and we are the best when it comes to safety, convenience and results in a short amount of time. The Daily article ended with, ‘Less is more’ and in our case, that is exactly the point.”

Exercise and Strength Training Franchise SuperSlow Zone Achieves Second Five Year Re-Accreditation As An Authorized Provider By Prestigious IACET
Posted: Thursday, September 9th, 2010
Madeline Ross, CEO of exercise franchise SuperSlow Zone, LLC, announces second term authorization demonstrating commitment to high quality lifelong learning
Orlano, Fla. – September 9, 2010 – The SuperSlow Zone®, LLC, proudly announces their re-accreditation (as of Friday, August 30, 2010) as an Authorized Provider for the International Association of Continuing Education and Training [http://www.iacet.org]. This exemplary status is for The SuperSlow Zone’s® second five year term. Being an IACET Authorized Provider means that the company or organization consistently delivers continuing education and training to the world-class standards of the American National Standards Institute [ANSI] and IACET. ANSI/IACET is the most prestigious global accreditation available.
“We are pleased to welcome SuperSlow Zone, LLC® as continuing to be an Authorized Provider organization,” stated Karen Brown, President of IACET and Senior HR Manager of Nuclear Power at Shaw Group in Massachusetts. Brown added, “SuperSlow Zone, LLC® joins nearly 650 organizations around the globe that have had their programs vetted by third-party experts in continuing education to ensure the highest possible standards are met.”
SuperSlow Zone® CEO Madeline Ross said, “It is a very rigorous application and evaluation. IACET has a two tier assessment process by their Commissioners. Our re-application was 470 pages. Our site visit by the IACET Commissioner was equally meticulous. The IACET Commissioners assess our evidence for consistently upholding the ANSI/IACET global standards for the highest quality annual continuing education courses [CEUs] that our front line Certified SuperSlow® Instructors must take to maintain a valid certification. This is very important in a personal training industry that is largely ungoverned, non-accredited, unsafe and a free-for-all.”
USA examples of corporations and organizations accredited by IACET are the American Physical Therapy Association, National Institute of Health, Centers for Disease Control, Duke University Medical Center, Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation (FDIC) Corporate University, GE Healthcare, etc. Because the IACET accreditation is global in scope, SuperSlow Zone’s® international expansion in the country of Turkey as their first territory development, is covered by this esteemed accreditation.
Ross remarked, “Our CEU courses are not ‘death by Powerpoint’ or ‘how fast can I click radio buttons in an on-line course.’ We know that integral to our brand value is continual education and skills development of our front-line Certified SuperSlow Instructors through their annual CEU courses. Therefore, our CEU courses are as interactive as I can make them. Our Certified Instructors are smart, committed professionals who must be given tough subject matter in which they deliver live demonstrations of their knowledge through challenging interactive methods during the class. The student’s presentation is always followed by a peer-to-peer assessment and completed by the teacher’s assessment of the presenting student and assessing their peer’s feedback. Standards for each aspect of the course are stated and assessed.”
“We also received an outstanding recognition by our IACET Commissioner for how well we assess the student’s practical skill development. The objective of my course design is to ensure that when students/Certified Instructors complete a CEU course at our institute, they have advanced their skills to better service their clients….that’s what this is all for. Our institute is the right hand of each General Manager. ANSI/IACET is one critical component for our brand stewardship,” continued Ross.
SuperSlow Zone®’s Compliance Officer, Dr. Scott Preissler, Ph D., who was previously an IACET Commissioner for three years and is currently on the IACET’s finance committee, said, “In some ways, our review was even more rigorous because of my past and present roles in IACET. Madeline is very coachable, thorough and accurate so we worked well together to complete a re-application which received a glowing evaluation. In fact, Madeline did so well that our IACET site visit Commissioner recommended that Madeline apply to become an IACET Commissioner. The Commissioner also recommended Madeline to be a future speaker for IACET on the topic of being an IACET Authorized Provider because she, and I, understand how to leverage the IACET standards and relationship to strengthen our company’s brand by using it to build stronger client relationships.”

I want to thank Roxie Borisch, Registrar and Administrator, and Dr. Preissler, Ph D, our Department Chairman and Compliance Officer, for all of their help and support.
Notes:
The IACET Site Commissioner *got* that I have developed and advanced ANSI and IACET standards into our Level I, Level II and Level III –Qulaifed Certifier education and certification programs, and many of these same professionals have become teachers for our institute and are now approved as certifiers, that this is critical for broadeningand deepening our *national knowledge bank* of intellectual capital. We also received special commendation for my re-design of all CEU courses to be as interactive as possible on the part of the students. This design is in large part my commitment to brand value…the more skillful, competent and professional the instructors are, through *practice*, the better our brand value.
Finally, we are the *the only* Authorized Provider that has a *two tier assessment/evaluation* process in their CEU courses through our *Debriefer* practice and then the teacher assessing both the student presenter and the debriefers…they found this to be a most innovative approach to achieving Learner Outcomes.
The IACET Commissioner also:
a) Suggested that I apply to become an IACET Commissioner
b) Be a speaker for IACET on the topic of the value of being an Authorized Provider
c) Compete for IACET’s *best company award*

“Because we run with the ‘global, big dog companies/organizations’ that are accredited by IACET, with USA examples such as the American Physical Therapy Association, National Institute of Health, Centers for Disease Control and, Duke University Medical Center, Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation (FDIC) Corporate University, GE Healthcare, etc. our standards are very high and consistent,” continued Ross. “This select group of SuperSlow Zone® owners took eight CEU courses totally 9.5 hours of class time, taught one CEU course, passed written and oral exams, and completed a writing assignment to be used as they now teach for our Institute. When you combine this with the fact they are successful SuperSlow Zone® owners, you have the best of all world – they know where the rubber hits the road by producing tremendous client satisfaction and results blended with expanded knowledge and skills.”
About the rigorous IACET standards, Madeline Ross said, “Important fundamentals of our program are the education and leadership from Dan and Ryan, our two SuperSlow® Masters, and peer-to-peer assessments of each student’s performance each class, both of which sharpened their overall knowledge development, practical application and their skills for giving and receiving effective feedback. Additionally, these Level IIs already are, or will, be teaching for our institute. Building our knowledge-base wide and deep with successful, competent SuperSlow Zone owners is critical. Our IACET accredited program, and it’s challenging, high standards, is particularly important at a time when the public consistently encounters a personal training industry that can be an ungoverned, non-accredited, unsafe, ‘hey – I’m just like you’… free-for-all.”
“With the support and expertise of our two SuperSlow® Masters, Dan and Ryan, each Level II student had the opportunity be educated and assessed by the very BEST, a combined nineteen years of our SuperSlow® Master’s experience,” continued Ross.
As these ten SuperSlow Zone® owners advance to Level III – Qualified Certifier, SuperSlow Zone® will be adding ten additional certifying centers throughout the US. This is particularly important for SuperSlow Zone’s focus on the corporate wellness market through two strategic partners, who have a combined 18 years in the corporate wellness segment.

Exercise and Strength Training Franchise SuperSlow Zone® Lone Tree, CO, Completes Biggest Loser Contest And Beats The National TV Show Winners
Posted: Wednesday, June 30th, 2010
Madeline Ross, CEO of exercise franchise SuperSlow Zone®, LLC, commends the Biggest Loser Contest Winners of SuperSlow Zone Lone Tree, CO, For Fantastic Results – Christie Taylor, General Manager of SuperSlow Zone® Lone Tree, CO, recently hosted a 12 week Biggest Loser Contest in which her contestants achieved better results than the national TV show contestants. The precise difference is that SuperSlow Zone®’s contestants did a 20 minute work out, twice and week…that’s all…and followed SuperSlow Zone®’s healthy eating program, Transitions Lifestyle System™. Compare this to the national contestants who did 3 – 6 hours a day/7days a week of workouts and calorie counting every day. Ross stated, “I selected Transitions Lifestyle Systems™ as our healthy eating program because it is based on sound science, easy to follow and convenient. Clients of all ages can and will make lasting healthy life changing habits combining SuperSlow Zone® exercise with this eating method. It works…that is what we all really care about.” (http://franchise.superslowzone.com/biggest-loser)
Orlando, Fla. – June 30, 2010
“Listening to client’s struggle every day with their concerns about ‘weight loss’ wasn’t exactly what we signed up for when we started our SuperSlow Zone® franchise two and a half years ago,” said Taylor, “The good news is, we can help and our client’s tune completely change!” Twenty-five contestants started the contest but only twelve completed the challenge. The contestants that dropped out all did ‘their own eating program.’ The twelve that completed with exceptional results combined SuperSlow Zone™ personal strength training with Transitions Lifestyle System™. This proves once again the simple power of combining SuperSlow Zone®’s amazing 20 minute personal strength training exercise with a sensible, science-based eating approach that is doable and very effective.
The contest winner Tara Kirkpatrick – So Far Off The Wagon, Was There Hope?
Taylor commented, “Tara came in on January 1st 2010 and told me she had fallen so far off the wagon that she actually succumbed to her husband’s request of brownies and ice cream for breakfast and, why not, it was his birthday!!! I really knew I had my hands full at that point.” Taylor continued, “Tara has suffered from bad knees, bad back, back headaches, you name it! This goes to show that dedication and support through our system works. She showed up twice a week for 12 weeks doing her SuperSlow Zone 20 minute, two times a week work out and Transitions Lifestyle program…with only a couple cheats and WOW! Tara is down 40+ inches, lost 27.6 lbs and lost 39% body fat in our 12-week contest. She looks and feels like a whole new person. As you can imagine, I am very proud of all our contestants.”
Commending the other contest winners are Nancy Ballard, second place winner, losing 35.85 total inches, 33.2bs total lbs and 34.70% body fat, third place winner, Jodie Streeter, losing 20.8 total inches, 24.4bs lbs and 8.22 total inches, Kelli Flagg, Overall Total Winner since starting SuperSlow Zone® one year and two months ago by losing 52.25 total inches and 57.2 lbs and Anne Adkins, the Staff Biggest Loser who lost 27 total inches and 25.6 lbs in 10 months.

Exercise and Strength Training Franchise SuperSlow Zone® Features Ex-Disney Executive, Lee Cockerell, At Special Speaking Event
Posted: Tuesday, April 27th, 2010
Madeline Ross, CEO of exercise franchise SuperSlow Zone®, LLC, attends event hosted by The Mabrys of SuperSlow Zone San Antonio which featured international author and speaker, Lee Cockerell. – Harvey and Marjorie Mabry, SuperSlow Zone Master Developers for Bexar County (San Antonio), TX, and their staff, hosted a special event for about 50 people as a gift to their SuperSlow Zone clients, family, friends and community to hear international author and speaker, Lee Cockerell (http://www.LeeCockerell.com), former Executive Vice President of Operations for the Walt Disney World® Resort. Lee’s topic was ‘management and leadership’ and is based on his book, Creating Magic…10 Common Sense Leadership Strategies From a Life at Disney. One of Lee’s major and lasting legacies was the creation of Disney Great Leader Strategies, which continues on as the primary resource for developing the 7000 leaders at Walt Disney World. His book is co-authored by the Disney Institute and is translated into ten languages. Madeline Ross, Founder and CEO of SuperSlow Zone, attended the event to honor the Mabrys and Mr. Cockerell.

Orlando, Fla. – April 27, 2010
“As the Senior Operating Executive for ten years at Walt Disney World® Resort, Lee led a team of 40,000 Cast Members and was responsible for the operations of 20 resort hotels, 4 theme parks, 2 water parks, a shopping & entertainment village and a sports and recreation complex,” Ross said. “Lee’s experiences closely parallel the career of Harvey Mabry who was President of Retailing at H-E-B Grocery, America’s 11th largest privately held corporation with 12 billion in gross revenues. It was wonderful to have two seasoned corporate leaders, Lee and Harvey, meet. Lee was very inspiring in that he, like myself and Harvey, has a commitment to continually grow and develop in management and leadership skills. Lee is a client of SuperSlow Zone® Windermere, FL so we all also have in common our passion for being fit and healthy…of course SuperSlow Zone® is core to this,” continued Ross.
Lee has lived a lifestyle of health and fitness and became a client of SuperSlow Zone® in January, 2010. As of April 2010, Lee has dropped 11 pounds and lost 6% body fat. These are pretty great results from a 20 minute work out, 2 times a week. “Everyone can do this work out,” said Lee. “Tremendous results from focus and concentration. I keep consistent with this because I have an appointment with a professional, certified SuperSlow Zone® Instructor. Who doesn’t have 20 minutes? Plus, I exercise in what I have on for the day. You can’t get more convenient than this. The way I think about it is, ‘go slow and save your life!’”
“Lee is not hired by SuperSlow Zone® to promote us,” said Ross. “He talks about SuperSlow Zone® in his blogs (http://blog.leecockerell.com), speeches, seminars, etc. because he, and his wife Priscilla, have achieved such great results in a very short time and continue to sustain great health. SuperSlow Zone® is one, critical part of this. As a leader, speaking in the US and abroad, he says what’s on his mind…and people of the world being fit and healthy is a BIG passion of Lee’s.”

Both of the attorneys are members of multiple organizations, associations and academies that recognize and honor the best in the business, and they thought a similar organization should be created for Best Selling authors who don’t always get recognition for their accomplishment. Authors themselves, they recognized that only a very limited number of books made the major New York Times Best Seller list and just like the awards shows put on by the entertainment-based organizations, they wanted to have more categories for authors to be accepted and recognized for their accomplishment. The National Academy of Best Selling Authors™ now honors authors from many of the leading independent best-seller lists.
